Dehydrated Skin
Hydration is a primary requirement of our skin. Dehydrated skin is more vulnerable, less elastic and is more susceptible to the formation of wrinkles. When skin is dehydrated, its barrier function is weakened and more vulnerable to external aggressions.
Hydrating your skin can also help to reinforce it helping to protect it against external influences.
Dehydrated skin, contrary to what people may think, does not lack water but lacks the capability to retain water. This negatively impacts the process of cellular renewal which can leave skin feeling dry and dehydrated.
