This is a great high factor protection screen which gives long lasting coverage, so much so that haven't needed to reapply throughout the day. It has a nice smell unlike some sun factor creams and is suited to my oily skin, feels thick but isn't greasy at all, and I haven't had any break outs whilst using it. I would advise anyone using this product as a base/primer not to over apply, otherwise excess does tend to rub off in bits in your hands, so need to ensure its fully soaked in before applying any foundation over the top. I like the matte finish and a little does go a long way so well worth the price tag, I would recommend to others.

Superb Product - No Break Outs!

This is the first proper facial sun block I’ve ever bought. Previously I’ve just used my normal Factor 25 moisturiser or standard sun tan lotion.
I’m so glad I splashed out a few pounds on this because my skin (which is quite sensitive and prone to break outs) loved it.
I wore it for 7 days with no breakouts but used my normal moisturiser for the trip home and my skin was noticeably greasier by evening time.
I’m going to continue using this at home now during the summer and will only use a night cream for moisturise when I go to bed.
Really impressed with this product and happy to recommend.

Sun protection without a shiny face

I have tried several high factor facial sun creams and always found them too greasy or that they blocked and irritated my sensitive combination skin. At last I have found a product that provides high factor protection but stays matt, doesn't give me spots or a white face or smell too strong. Soaks in quickly and is easy to apply make up over the top. I now use this daily as part of my morning skincare routine. Only downside is that i have found it isn't very sweat resistant so I have to use a sports sun cream instead when I run. If I run after applying this cream it runs into my eyes and really stings!

So for years I never used sun cream on my face as I have the oiliest skin, and other sun products made me look like I was sweating. As I was having a wander around boots I spotted this, now I use their skin care and I was impressed so I thought I had nothing to lose by trying this. I am so glad I did and it has changed my skin routine for the better. You have to be quick to apply it to your face as it dries down very quickly, but to a lovely matte finish. Finally I can use a face SPF without it making me oily, and I have also found that it makes my makeup apply better too, as it has helped control oil throughout the day. I will never use another sun cream for my face again, fingers crossed it will never be discontinued.

Does not irritate; great matte texture

This is one of the few sunscreens that doesn't seem to cause any kind of spots or allergy for me, plus as a bonus, it doesn't leave my face looking chalky or feeling like it is covered in salad dressing. It's also the only sunscreen that works really well for my husband: he finds the others far too gloopy. I think a lot of men would find this acceptable as it has a very nice matte finish and doesn't feel too heavy. The only slight negative is that sometimes the cap doesn't stay shut in a bag, so the mechanism for keeping this tightly locked could be improved.

i needed a face cream product with a high SPF and that doesn't make me oily during the hot weather's when i'm out or working and i can SAY
THAT THIS IS THE BEST FACE SUN CREAM PRODUCT THERE IS, on the market, i instantly saw the difference when applying, although you would need to work it in as it dries very quick, looks good when applying make-up, doesn't irritate, doesn't give me any blemishes, really give me this healthy Matt look

This cream absorbed well, dried in to the touch. A little goes a long way and I have used over the heat wave period we have had, and I'm delighted to say my face hasn't burned and no red nose! Other creams I have previously used during hot weather in the past have become sticky and runny and actually makes my face sweat more.... this product did not. I have given 4 stars as I don't like fragrance on my face in skin products and feel that it does the job and doesn't really require having a fragrance. However I would recommend

I was sent this to review for boots.com, although mine is SPF 50.
Having fair, sensitive skin, I usually wear makeup with sun protection as I find most facial sun creams too greasy. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this product as it is light and not at all greasy. It feels more like a moisturiser than a sun cream and doesn't have the distinctive smell of sun creams either. It is also very handy to reapply during the day. I will definitely consider buying this when mine runs out!

I bought this as I was looking for sun protection that wouldn't make me greasy, I have combo skin that can get quite greasy in my T-zone especially in hot weather, wore it in Mexico few years ago for two weeks, no burn, no greasiness, reduced pores, just perfect, been buying it ever since and wouldn't be without it when travelling. Pricy but lasts ages, we tend to have one main holiday a year plus a couple of city breaks or weekends away and it lasts me all year. I love it!

This is a lovely little suncream. I took on holiday to Spain and found it a lovely consistency compared to regular suncream. A little goes a long way and smooths across your face easily and is readily absorbed. It certainly didn't get greasy, although I've not been wearing much makeup to effectively review how it affects that (or not - I would say it's unlikely to as it really sinks in more like a rich moisturiser). I certainly had no burning issues on my face, either - so definitely effective protection. I can't give 5 stars as, for me, it's a little pricey and I'm not keen on fragranced products on my face. Having said that, if I was in the sun a lot regularly and needed to wear a full face, I'd consider regularly using. The fragrance hasn't caused any irritation - so more a preference thing. Certainly a luxury - but lovely!

I've got skin that breaks out at the mere hint of a new product so i tried this out with some trepidation, but figured it couldn't be any worse in terms of break outs than the usual sun creams I use on my face!
It's so lovely to use and no break outs at all.. No red noses from the sun either, my skin felt gorgeous and it protected me from harmful rays really well over the recent hot spell.
Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thumbs up!

I had this cream for a few weeks now and I definitely think it's a keeper! I wouldn't say it's completely matte but pretty close. It feels much nicer to use on your face than standard sun cream and doesn't feel greasy at all. It absorbs nicely so no sticky feeling! It's a handy size to pop in your bag too! You only need to use a little and make up goes on well after use so overall, I'd say it a fantastically hard working all rounder!

This SPF face cream really is ideal. A little goes a long way and WOW that matt finish!! Works well under foundation and gives anyone peace of mind that you're protected.
I work in a job where, at a moments notice, I could be stood outside for hours. If it just so happens to be sunny, I know I won't have to worry about burning my face, or looking really shiny.

Good product for summer to start a day when you skin feels a bit oily already. But it does turn into white paste really fast if you dont spread it quick enough. And at the end of a day, it sits on your skin like a plaster… you will need to reapply them often throughout the day. It also colour correct your redness a bit because its sort of powdery white when you apply it but not intense.

I was looking for a new sun screen and after reading the reviews I thought it would be perfect for my oily skin. I like to use spf everyday after my usual skincare routine but this pills up like crazy and it actually looks like my skin is peeling off even after using a very light hand. I’ve tried mixing up the products underneath but it does the same. Very sad this doesn’t work for me.

This is a great little product that does exactly as it says. It is a great base for foundation or light make-up, isn't oily and leavens no residue and protects your skin. A little goes a long way!
I did however find it a little drying for my skin personally, as I do have dry skin. And I think it is too expensive for how much you get and what it is. But it is a great product!

I adore this product and have taken it with me almost everywhere (it comes in a small tube so is much more handy than the larger sun cream tubs you can get).
It leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft and doesn't need applying every hour like some other sun creams. I've used this during the heat waves we've had recently in the UK and not once got burnt.

This product is great on hot days and whilst away on holiday, it eliminates any shine whilst protecting your face with a high factor 50 sun cream. The cream is light and easily absorbed leaving so white areas on your skin. Unlike a lot of sun protection this product is paraben free and has anti ageing protection. A great summer must have!

I was wary about using this as most spf50 creams leave a white layer on my olive skin. This isn't too thick and sinks in immediately leaving a good matte finish which is great when it's hot. It might be too dry to use on its own for people with dry skin but for me it worked well on its own and under make up.

I thought I would give this a try as I was worried about burning and about the effects of sun damage to my sensitive skin. I have been really impressed with this, it goes on easily and evenly, nice light fragrance, I have had no adverse reactions and no spots of flare ups to my sensitive skin.

I was so impressed with this. I am used to face sun creams to be greasy and shiny but this absorbs really quickly as is nice and matt. It feels very light, you wouldn't even know that you had it on! My foundation initially sits well on it but does grow a bit shiner as the day goes on.

I normally use regular sun cream on my face rather than one designed especially for the face. This left my face shine free and was easily absorbed into my skin.
It has a really subtle scent.

I'm a dark skin black women (mac NC 50) and this is the first sunscreen one used that has no white or purple cast which is a rarity. Only given 4 stars at not sure if it will break me out but my oily skin has stayed pretty shine-free for 7 hours so far it's a win

I have oily, sensitive skin that breaks out super easy. This is the only SPF that keeps my skin looking good, and not like an oil slick. It doesn’t leave you looking like a ghost, and soaks in very well. It has not broken me out. It’s impressive and a keeper ☺️

This sunscreen is fab for oily skin, normally sunscreen leaves me a bit shiny. This makes my skin feel smooth, and makeup stays on well when applied over the sunscreen. I've used it before an outdoor workout and it stayed on well. Would definitely recommend!!

Thanks Vichy. I'm really careful with making sure I use a cream with SPF in but I struggle to find a face cream with a high SPF for the summer months and sun cream is usually too greasy to wear make up over, this is perfect.

Haven’t worn SPF on my face properly for YEARS due to always breaking out straight after...haven’t broke out once with this one! The Mattifying is so nice aswell, you don’t look greasy like other suncreams.

Easily absorbed

I have been using this cream throughout the summer and love it . The cream is easily absorbed and a little seems to go a long way which makes it better value for money . Also the compact size of the tube means I can keep it in my handbag and re apply it on sunny days.

First impressions

I'm a dark skin black women (mac NC 50) and this is the first sunscreen one used that has no white or purple cast which is a rarity. Only given 4 stars at not sure if it will break me out but my oily skin has stayed pretty shine-free for 7 hours so far it's a win

Amazing SPF for picky skin

I have oily, sensitive skin that breaks out super easy. This is the only SPF that keeps my skin looking good, and not like an oil slick. It doesn’t leave you looking like a ghost, and soaks in very well. It has not broken me out. It’s impressive and a keeper ☺️

Great for oily skin

This sunscreen is fab for oily skin, normally sunscreen leaves me a bit shiny. This makes my skin feel smooth, and makeup stays on well when applied over the sunscreen. I've used it before an outdoor workout and it stayed on well. Would definitely recommend!!

Really, really nice formula that feels substantial enough to protect your skin but light enough to wear every day. I really like the mattifying finish, which makes it look and feel like normal skin with no heavy or greasy feel.

I never use suncream on my face and instead just use moisturisers with an spf included. This is a fantastic as it really isnt greasy and instantly sinks into your skin leaving a matte finish. I would definitely recommend this.

Thanks Vichy. I'm really careful with making sure I use a cream with SPF in but I struggle to find a face cream with a high SPF for the summer months and sun cream is usually too greasy to wear make up over, this is perfect.

This product has become a staple in my handbag since I was lucky enough to receive it to test. It's easy to use, has a light subtle fragrance and has the added bonus of having added sun protection. Would definitely buy again

I got this around a month ago and just love it. Need to use very little and its works really well under my makeup which is unusual for a product containing SPF I find. Non greasy and well priced. Would highly recommend!

I have oily skin and I find so many sun creams and products with SPF break me out but this kept me mattified all day and didn’t break me out! Can’t recommend this enough, I feel it would work nice under makeup too

Haven’t worn SPF on my face properly for YEARS due to always breaking out straight after...haven’t broke out once with this one! The Mattifying is so nice aswell, you don’t look greasy like other suncreams.

This cream is great on my usually quite oily skin, any regular sun cream makes my face too greasy which causes break out in spots, this left my skin feeling not greasy at all while protecting from the sun.

This is a great product - there is zero shine with it, it offers great protection (no burning at all) and my other products layer really well over the topnwith no white cast. What’s not to love!

High protection, great matt finish

Subtle, pleasant smell, soaks in well, good matt finish not shiny like some others, but also great to use as uva & uvb protection under makeup, just need the sun to come back out now!
