Where are light and radiation coming from?
Sat indoors you may feel you’re safe from harmful rays and radiation. And, while standard glass windows can block UVB rays, UVA rays can still get through.
UVA rays are plentiful and powerful - they’re able to penetrate deeper into the skin and are the main cause of photoaging. Photoaging is a common face concern it can present itself as dark spots, fine-line and wrinkles and skin textural change.
It’s not just the sun that causes skin damage when you’re inside, blue light that is emitted from electronic devices like computers, TVs and mobile phones act in a similar way to UVA rays. And, infra-red radiation that is emitted from things like hair-dryers and toasters can lead to skin dehydration and tissue damage.
