1) Do you remember your first introduction to Vichy Laboratoires?
“In Portugal, it’s a brand everyone knows. I’d seen the products at home growing up, and later in the locker rooms as well. I’ve always seen it as something reliable, something that actually works.”
2) What made you want to partner with Vichy?
“For me, performance is everything. And that’s not just what you do on the pitch — it’s how you feel day-to-day. Everything is connected: nutrition, sleep, recovery, skin, scalp. 3) Why does this moment in your career feel like the right time for this ambassador role?
“I feel like I’ve grown a lot in the past few years, especially at PSG. I’ve taken on more responsibility and more control in my game. At this level, every detail matters. You start thinking more long-term, about taking care of your body as a whole. Skin and hair are part of that. So, when the opportunity with Vichy came, it just felt right. And I love their products!”
4) What message do you want to share through this partnership?
“That taking care of yourself isn’t just about how you look — it’s about performance. Feeling good, confident, and ready. That makes a difference.”
5) What does your routine look like on match day?
“It’s very simple and consistent. I don’t change much because I believe that keeping things uncomplicated and routine allows me to give 100% of my focus to the game.”
6) How do you reset post-match?
“After a game, you need to switch off. The shower helps a lot with that. It’s not just about getting clean — it’s about resetting. When I feel comfortable, with a clean scalp and hair, it helps me switch into recovery mode.”
7) You travel constantly, what are your essentials?
“I always bring the products that I trust — Dercos shampoos and Vichy deodorants. I like to keep the same routine wherever I am. It gives me a bit of stability when everything else changes.”
8) How do you manage the mental pressures of the game?
“I’m very organized. I plan everything — training, family time, recovery. That helps me stay in control. And I also like quiet time. I prefer being at home and preparing for what’s next.”
9) Are conversations around grooming and skincare happening more in football?
“Definitely. Anything that helps performance is taken seriously now. Nutrition, recovery, skin, scalp — it’s all part of being a professional. It’s normal to talk about these things in the locker room. And I’m happy to share what works for me.”
