How to use anti-dandruff shampoo for normal to oily hair?

Amazing results

I’ve known the Dercos range for over 12 years now — and honestly, it’s the only thing that truly clears my dandruff. I recently started using the Dercos Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for Normal to Oily Hair again about two months ago, and wow… I forgot how good it is! My scalp feels clean, balanced, and flake-free — every single time. Some products come and go, but this one always earns its spot back on my shelf.

Scalp Heroes or not ?!!

I was happy to use this shampoo for my scalp. It did help my scalp. But I just didn’t let it on my hair it didn’t really help that.

Flame free from day one

You can see in my photo from my first use before at the top and after, 90% plus of my flakes are gone. I got the normal to oily hair one...the dry hair one would be better for me, but it still left my hair nourished and flake free. I have to say I'm very impressed with it, is it smells gorgeous, not clinical like most medicated shampoo. I will definitely be buying this again.

Not great

First two washes it was great. I have very very thick hair and a lot of it so I tend to get built up a lot . After that , I found residue of the shampoo in my hairbrush and it was worse than ever. I washed it out with a regular shampoo and the water was orange ( colour or the shampoo) . I wash my hair throughout with a scalp brush so it wasn’t a case of not washing it out enough. After looking at the main ingredient of this shampoo it can cause a bad scalp and eventually hairloss, I will no longer be using it. I think it is only a once in a while sort of shampoo. I wash my hair once a week and after the 2 washes it no longer served it’s purpose

I’ve tried quite a few anti-dandruff shampoos and this is one of the few that actually made a difference. My scalp feels a lot cleaner and less itchy, and I noticed fewer flakes pretty quickly. What I like most is that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stripped or overly dry — my hair still feels soft and looks healthy after washing. It just feels like it’s actually treating my scalp properly instead of just masking the problem.

I like it, so far.....

I've recently started having dandruff & have tried various products. They've either been too harsh & left my hair like straw or too greasy. I decided to spend more & purchased this Vichy shampoo. So far I like it. It leaves my hair so soft that I don't need a conditioner after but my hair is a bit fluffy so I have to run my staighteners over it. I don't agree with previous reviewers comments about the smell. It does not smell like raw sewage & I can't say that it smells very much of anything. I can't comment yet on how effective it is on my dandruff as I've only used it four times, hence the four stars.

Gods honest truth

I bought this shampoo four weeks ago. The first two weeks it worked amazingly. The last two weeks I’ve quietly been going insane because of this smell that’s been following me around, a mix of rotten eggs and gas. My clothes have been stinking, my towels reeked of this smell. I’ve had the gas engineers out doing inspections for leaks. I’ve had the water board out testing the water. I’ve had plumbers in pulling apart my shower. I’ve been on the phone to Ikea demanding a replacement of my washing machine. It’s the shampoo. Great at getting rid of flakes, you’ll absolutely stink. You’ve been warned.
